Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to analyse transactional and non-transactional big data in order to provide insights that are used in an organisation. It involves identifying trends and relationships within big data, and establishing data acceptability. It also involves forming recommendations based on the analysis, and reporting on analysis findings.It applies to those who work in a broad range of industries and job roles using big data analysis techniques in their day-to-day work. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Skills must be assessed in a workplace or simulated environment where conditions are typical of a work environment that uses big data. Access is required to: information and telecommunications equipment required to analyse big data big data sets to be analysed industry standards, organisational procedures, and legislative requirements required to demonstrate the performance evidence. Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational education and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards. |
